Ariel, Interrupted

Sorry rhymes with Party, in the Digital Age

Sometimes I find the digital age confusing: my phone talks, my computer talks, and I sit dumbfounded. I’m not going to sit here and rant on about how technology has crept into every aspect of our first world lives (I am here assuming that you have seen the 2013 Spike Jonze film “Her” – which would make this conversation redundant for us both) so I will, as within my nature, get straight to the point.

I messed up the dates to the Patti Smith reading.

(Of course)

However, like the moon, this small tale has a bright side. The actual date is on October 7, 2015 – or next Wednesday; so, if at nothing else consider this better notice for my absence to your class on the date specified previously (<——-).

Anyways, I will stop cluttering your inbox.  Thanks for being so great and understanding, and you know – my mother always told me that one week is the best time for fore-notice so if you wanted to throw up your arms and chuck your responsibility to the birds for one week and tag along, let me know and I’ll send you the event information.

Have a great day and see you later in class,

As always,

Ariel Schleicher

About Author

Ariel Gauraa is excited for me to write a small biography about myself -- I imagine my professors share her level of excitement at the thought I might turn in my homework on time. As for both I think I will sip another beer and hope a security breach on the server will crash the system and give me more time to think of something funny to describe me.
